When on, scanning an unopened box warns if an opened box of the same finish is on the shelf and offers it instead. Leave it off until the scale is in and every box has been out and back at least once; before that the app cannot tell which box is really open.
Counts and adjustments that add stock worth more than the amount below wait for the approver before they count. When the approver is out, the backup approves. Receipts from PeopleSoft never need approval.
The switch unlocks when the approval queue ships. Until then this only stores who approves and from what amount; nothing on the floor changes.
